Language requirements
Applicants for Master’s studies must provide certification that their proficiency in the teaching language of the respective Master’s degree programme is sufficient. For further information see our language requirements.
You must provide this certification by submitting a recognised, valid language certificate by the application deadline at the latest. The language certificates which are accepted are listed on our website under “recognised certificates”.
To verify your official TOEFL Score result we use the ETS Online Score Verification System. To receive your score report details you will have to indicate the test date and appointment number in the online application accordingly.
Further you need to order a report and designate ETH Zurich as the receiving institution (our institution code is 9038).
The results will be automatically added to your account.
To verify your C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency results we use the online Results Verification Service.
In order to do so, please share your results through the external pageCandidate Results Servicecall_made and report in the online application the test date and Statement of Results number accordingly.
Further you will have to upload a scan of your report as PDF.
